Information about SGP Reports
On Monday, January 12th, some students received Student Growth Percentile reports.  The information contained in these reports is from state-wide assessments that students took during the 2013-2014 school year.  For more information about these reports, please watch the video below or go to the GADOE webpage.

  • Screven County Teachers of the Year
    Congratulations to Kelly Chandler for being named the Screven County Teacher of the Year!  Mrs. Chandler will represent Screven County Schools in state competition.  Congratulations to Erin Thames at SCES and Terry Markovcic at SCHS for being named Teacher of the Year at their schools.  
  • Screven County Schools Strategic Planning Process
Opportunities for Parent Involvement
    School Council Meetings will be held at SCHS on Thursday, Feb.5th, at SCES on Tuesday, Feb 10, and at SCMS on Wednesday Feb. 11th. All meetings begin at 5:00 pm. Feedback and input needed on Title I program, School Wide Plan, and Parental Involvement plans.
  • Monthly Board of Education Meetings
    The Screven County School Board meets the second Monday of each month at the County Office at 5:00 p.m.  Public participation is welcome.
  • PTO meetings each month
    Contact your child's school about becoming involved in the PTO.
